@FireSarge30 At least I am happy to hear that you wouldn't do what patrol car #2 did. Because I call that action Cold Blooded Murder. Now if they were dangerous felons then the circumstances would greatly change.

@padrak18 - Thanks for being respectful in your reply. So many are not. It's OK to disagree, however; I stand by my comments that the original stop was lawful. The original violation was not captured on camera. The biker ran for a reason. Not to question you, however; I find your comment regarding shooting to be very much out of character and training for a former LEO. There are many more reasons deadly force is acceptable. The video from car 2, however; is not something I would do.

@FireSarge30 A. Simply because a "Civil Servant" turns his overheads on does not make it a "Legal" stop.
B. Don't know about you but when I was a cop we didn't kill people unless they pulled a gun or were shooting other people. C. The fact remains that the driver faced the consequences of a kill happy cop with no brains. A decent person does not take a life simply because a person fails to stop for a traffic violation. But then....Some just like and look to kill.

@padrak18 - Yes. The Police Officer activated his lights and signaled the driver to stop. At that point, the rider was legally bound to yield to the emergency vehicle, which he failed to do. The rider then attempted to flee/elude, which, in most states, is a felony now. What the video does not show, was the original violation, likely at another light. The fact remains that the rider was legally obligated to stop when signaled. This rider faced the conseqences of his own actions.

@FireSarge30 Oh! BTW can you show proof that it was indeed a "lawful" traffic stop?
-
@FireSarge30 OIC sooooo you should kill some simply because they run from a traffic stop? Maybe in Russia.
As for the CIVIL SERVANTS being educated. All one has to do is look at videos of them in action. Then it becomes quite clear that even a red neck, jack booted thug can get a degree these days. A picture (Video) tells a thousand words.

@padrak18 - The "kid" was running from a lawful traffic stop. His decision to run is not the Officer's fault. Innocent people's lives are put in jeopardy as a direct result of the rider's decison to run. The Officer in pursuit was doing his job. As to not finishing high school, I suggest you do a little homework prior to making inaccurate statements. The fact is that most departments now require a minimum of an Associates degree, more often a Bachelor's degree. Let the insults begin.

texas justice system at its best

@mxracer95x As true as that is, even if you are being pulled over for no reason you are still at fault for running. If the cop does something stupid, the courts sort it out, not you.

@mxracer95x That was in the old America. Welcome to Communist America. Stick around, it's only going to get worse. :(
chase initiated for no reason? The whole reason for "the chase" was because the bike didn't pull over and stop. Even a 1st grader knows what flashing red and blue lights mean...stop.

This is America. Cops have to have a legal reason to pull you over.
