Infra-red isn't possible with digital colour originals, is it? The answer is a big yes. Photo answers' Web Content Producer James Abbott shows you how to use Photoshop's Channel Mixer to create stunning infra-red style black and white images. In this video tutorial you will also learn how to apply blur to images using the 'Orton Effect'.

Before you begin, it's important to note that to successfully apply this technique, it helps to use images containing a large amount of green. Landscpes work particularly well.
