Benchmarking my new 9800GTX+ in Crysis
I'm using the Crysis Benchmarking Tool and Benchmark_GPU.
Resolution set to 1680x1050 all high!!! Not bad for my old CPU Athlon X2 4800+.
In-game 20-58 fps!!!
System Specs
EVGA 9800GTX+
Athlon X2 4800+
MSI K9N Neo V3
Win XP Pro SP3 32bit

  • i think that your cpu is the bottelneck

  • @TheDman52 get the new ATI 5000 series it enhanced for dx11

  • if you get this card make sure you get the version that requires two 6 pin power supply becuz with one its sux at OC before she starts to fail other then that good card but im taking advantage of the step up program

  • I have a AMD Phenom II X4 Quad at 2.8ghz with 4 gigs of DDR3 (1333mhz) and i cant decide to go with this card or the Radeon HD 4860 with has better specs then this card but that doesn't always mean better performance..... I cant decide

  • I have a PNY 9800GTX+ and I must say I like how it runs games for the most part. It's not the best card you can get these days, but it does play most games I have maxed out at 1280/1024 which is the most my monitor will go. The only thing I see with your set up is I think your CPU might be bottlenecking your video card. Then again with a 9800GTX+ even with a better CPU I couldtn't see you getting a hell of a lot better fps then what you are getting now.

  • me too my athlon 64x2 4000+ oced @ 2.8ghz is so old i need a new mobo, gunnah go am2+ with am3 support

  • nice video. upgrading my CPU soon, since my 9800 GTX+ is being bottlenecked right now.

wasn't sure if i needed to upgrade my graphics card too, but this video proves that i do NOT. thanks :)

  • by the way I just stepped up to an evga geforce 260 sc 896mb and not much better. good thing it was free. I just had to pay the shipping
