This is a poor representation of Hamlet's inner questioning and torment. A very bad job of representing the troubled character, seems off.

Just to get different viewpoints,

why do you guys feel that way?

All the videos of this Soliloquy I see and like, everyone seems to diss. I like yours, and yet professional opinion is apparently that its not good?

Well this for one is incredibly hard to do right. this performance may be cool for someone that doesn't understand all the words necessarily. But lets say you've had training and seen someone really capture it, this is nowhere near as good as it could have been. but also that night wasn't all that good anyways if I remember correctly

We we cut the speech down for length. so what we cut it to, I did not miss. This was preshow entertainment. so as not to make it last too long and to let others also perform we shortened it. but its only a few parts

I thought this was actually a great performance! Not many students can do this monologue well--frankly, some people flat out suck--and you've really done a nice job here, especially for a cut version with people constantly chattering away in the background... I probably would have just gone up to the talking people and beaten them senseless because it's just RUDE to talk during a performance. But I digress... It's not as horrible as everyone is saying it is. I liked it a lot! Well done!

i agree completely. i feel that the character has more to do than the plot, the course of the narrative are fantastical and imaginative but the best shakespeare; acting wise is the one that takes time to be the character and to get into the mind set, im not saying its bad as such, but just a general comment

Okay this really sucks, I could tell by the length of it that it was gonna suck. Shakespeare isn't about being able to memorize lines and repeat it. It's about looking deep into the soul of a complex and tortured character, and becoming them. Thinking the way they do, and being able to emerge yourself so deeply in their mind that they way you speak something is the way they themselves would have said it. A key point is to be slow, because he is...contemplating.
