I like that rat/mice breeding set up you got too are they both done the same way 1/4 ratio male to females? I'm spending about 40-60 dollars on rats,mice,pinkies every two weeks so a setup similar to what you got there would be ideal for me.

@souldiesoul I try to keep the ratio pretty low, but sometimes I get a lot of them that have babies at one time, and right now I'm kind of limited on cages, so sometimes the ratio gets to be a little more. The guy that got me started ususally keeps his ratio at about 1 male to 2 or 3 females. The more room you have to breed, the better.

@souldiesoul Thanks! I would love to start selling snakes. I've had several requests. I need to find the best way to ship them, especially with the way the weather has been where I live. With the babies that have hatched, I want to make sure they have been eating well, and I want to make sure the snakes are healthy. I also don't want to get in trouble selling something I'm not supposed to. Certain snakes are illegal for me to sell here. Let me know what you are interested in.

tell us how u started with ur mice village

@wootstalker I'll try to make this short. It all started with a need to cut back on snake food costs. A lady from church told her daughter that I like snakes, and the daughter's boyfriend also collects snakes. The boyfriend bred his own mice and rats, and he helped get me started. He has given me a lot of advice along the way. It's a lot of work, and I still don't have it down pat yet.

Well i have about a four month old Florida King male, male Hypo Corn Snake, and a Anery Corn Snake that at this point I'm questioning the sex of because the pet store that i get my snakes from never knows the sex of what they are selling. So I'm basically trying to pair up a few of my snakes and add to my collection. @Leecop1000 I really need to do an update. I just got a new shed/building behind my house that I am going to move a lot of my collection into. I need to get some modifications done first. Hopefully it won't be too much longer.
