People's Postcode Lottery winner in Rutherglen G73 4BS

Angus took his gold envelopes to Glasgow this week with the mission of surprising Elizabeth Lees the only player in this weeks winning street, Fernhill Road, G73 4BS.

Upon arriving and knocking on the door, Elizabeths husband Jim opened the door and swiftly announced: Shes not in! but that didnt stop him from inviting Angus in to reveal what was in the shiny envelope.

Just as he was about to find out the amount of his Street Prize, Elizabeth coincidentally called from her job at a furniture shop. Youll never guess whos here, announced Jim, before telling her about the Peoples Postcode Lotterys surprise visit. Naturally, she was sceptical when she heard the news but a quick chat to Angus remedied that!

Staying on the phone, Elizabeth heard the cheque slide out, revealing that she and Jim had won an astounding £25,000! Im shaking! Jim told his wife, Weve really won 25 grand!

When the news had sunk in a little more, Jim toasted his success with a glass of champagne, explaining to Angus: We saw the adverts on TV and signed up, it was easy as that.

This is just magic you never think youll win when you register with things like this, said Jim, "£25,000 will make sure that we have a great Christmas.
