Kevin isn't evil. He's telling it like it is. This is what happens when you work in a high end corporate shill of a world.
You've got to deal with the assholes. Better have a good sense of humor, and a little pinch of masochism or you're fucked.

Brilliant - a completely overlooked and underrated film. Dark but funny (some of the insults are genius) and a great ending.

@DarkAnsem88 well shooting who he shoots is the only way to get out of the situation... and i think the promotion is just to make a point. the whole movie, at the end of the day, is a satire of how the system works. this is what i think...

Good gosh Kevin Spacey is such an awesome actor!

I've had many bosses like this. Abuse their power, employ scare tactics as incentives, made you feel six inches tall, etc. After 20 years I took charge..quit my 9-5 job and started my own business. Just think outside the box, It's very liberating.

@xXLuxAeternaXx I still don't understand why Guy shot who he shot, tho. and why he gets actually promoted at the end!

@KineticFrenetic to be honest, he did not make anything easier. he was beyond the mere selfishness he says he has earned.

I used this scene for a monologue. Kevin Spacey was amazing in this scene. AMAZING.
