Shortly after we finished recording our last project "FRESCOBALDI CUBED - GENESIS"

Rosalinde Haas fell and fractured her left wrist. We may be held up in completing the "FRESCOBALDI CUBED" cycle for a bit, but the intention is to use the time for even more compelling background study. Here a sample: Rosalinde Haas putting Frescobaldi's music into the context of its time: the principle of standing up for what we believe at the time of the Thirty Year War (1618-1648), contrasting the church's position of the time, that planet earth was flat, with scientific insights as proposed by Copernicus, Galilei and Kepler, and also alluding to individual fates such as that of Kepler's mother, who, accused of being a witch, found herself imprisoned: Witches in those days were burnt alive...
