Those D-Links really suck i would recommend a NetGear or a Cysco Linksys
and your problem is that the router gets too hot and turns off the internet in port so to remedy this, put it next to an open window, fan, or leave it in an open place where there is enough airflow to keep it cool

um to put it nicely you are an IDIOT if you think this is confusing
It's me again Frank. Where's the rest of it? I bought a Linksys router not knowing that it cost money to get text support from Linksys. They charge $3.50 a minute and you must gave a credit card number before you speak to anyone. If that's not enough my cousin gave me a Mac yesterday and I am still at "do not pass go and do not collect $200.00 with this PC. Can you come over. Bring the family. That young lady with the cut and past video is ahead of me.

Hiya Sparkle....the rest in the recieving unit on the computer itself? Assuming you've got XP and I think you do you have two choices. One is a PCI card the other is a usb unit. If you want easy go with the usb. Performance is equal. Virtually ALL recievers are plug and play for setup. Just remember if you didn't set security it should be able to auto connect. If you did setup security on the base then you have to use the same 'key' on the reciever :)
