James Kunstler has written some very good factual books on PO. The Long Emergency is gripping, if somewhat grim.

Oh that sounds wonderful, cant wait to get my hands on that :), right now im reading the LATOC site and that is some scary stuff.

I have to dig up more books about the peak oil issue, any chance you can recommend any ? non-fiction aswell as fictional

Absolutely nervewrecking novel, I was blown away from start to finish. Couldent stop once i began and when i closed the book after 9 hours of straight reading, i sat and stared out the window...just stared.

I thought this was one of the most thought provoking/scary books I have ever read. I am telling all my friends to read it.
