In this knitting video from http://www.KnittingHelp.com , Amy shows you how to create a beautiful invisible seam using mattress stitch. This knitting how-to video uses a contrasting color yarn so it's easy to follow along.
Hi, thank you for the great tutorial. Your video demonstrates the chain edge stitch with stockinette stitch. I have squares I need to seam that have a chain edge stitch with a garter stitch. How can I use the mattress stitch with my squares? When I pull my stitches apart, I do not have any bars as you demonstrated in the video. So, I'm not quite sure what I'm supposed to grab. Thanks for the help.
Thank you so much! I now see what I was doing wrong with this stitch. Hopefully my seams will look a little nicer from now on.
