  • i went there with my family last summer in august, the water was cold & the waves were INSANE so much fun though

  • @CAVEDWELLER007

yes, go to Echo Lake, water warm enough for going into over there.

  • i have been there and the water is COLD. but is nice to go camping there

  • Nice video. The water does take some getting use to, if you find it too cold, you should check out Echo Lake on the quiet side of the island, great little beach with warm water. I have several videos on the Bar Harbor Acadia national Park area as well.

  • @Copper389 i live in bar harbor, yeah, the water is freezing but once your body goes numb its not so bad, and try being here in the winter when temperatures get below 0, with about 4ft of snow on the ground, lol, it SUCKS

  • i like the cold water, nobody swims in it and no pee in it either :P

  • I went there :) the waters VERY cold, i ran away form the water cause it's FREEZING!

  • I live about an hour from there. I have so many memories of that beach!

  • yea i went in august it was like 77 degrees there was some ppl swimming, but not me :)

  • The sound of the ocean is very powerful and beautiful there probably because of the elevated terrain that surrounds the beach.
