i agree with the talk to a large extent, although i prefer to call the system he proposes an isolation grid. it seems he is proposing a bunch of ups(uninteruptable power supply) junctions to soak up the excess energy and use it when needed. it would also help make the grid easier to manage when it comes to repairs. but still he spoke very little about battery technology and that was what i was hoping to see in the chat.
