2010 USF ASME Student Paper Night

The traditional USF ASME student paper night was held on March 18, 2010. Two presentations were made.
In the first presentation, design of a device called the uniport was presented. It will be used for less invasive hysterectomy surgery.  The presenters were Kent Wheeler, Danny Segal, Asad Ahmad.
In the second presentation, the design of delevator, a lift or platform (elevator) on the side of the boat to make an entrance and exit accessible for wheelchairs was presented. The presenters were Michael Bair, Adriana Chacon, Mario Kikic and Evgeny Shakurov.
Later, Kent Wheeler went on present the uniport design in the Student Leadership conference at the University of Miami. He received 5th place overall in oral presentation.
