does this mean you don't stretch?? i too have IT problems and was forced out of racing a marathon because of severe knee pain during one of my longer runs leading up to the race...
should i stretch after runs or just use my TriggerPoint roller?

I have a foam roller and tried once a long time ago to massage my ITB, but it was quite painful and uncomfortable. Is that a normal sensation (generally speaking, if your ITB is not bothering you or anything)

it can be painful if you put too much weight on it... use your arms to support some of your weight if you feel pain
