Watch as this machine gun senses someone in its path using laser and fires relentlessly when an object crosses its path. Watch the making of on www.teamcynergy.com to learn how this machine gun was made using a basic stamp2 microcontroller, photoresitor, laser and a Tipman X7 Flatline Paintball Marker using Egrip with 3 round burst to fully automate the response trigger.

  • during the whole video, im just like "shoot the damn gun already!"

  • Nice gun, but until it's able to rotate, i think using a tripmine would be a bit more effective, plus, an enemy can just take the X-7 off the base and walk off with it :D

  • this is like a sentry gun in Modern Warfare 2

  • If i hear this song in another video again, I will kill somebody!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You wouldnt use this for Pro games, but you could still use it for large senario games such as "Living Legends" GO TO IT!!!!!

  • The delay is because he used a photoresistor instead of a phototransistor. Photoresistors have a delay in the resistance various when the light level changes. Phototransistors have a drastically different response time...in fact the BASIC Stamp kit is overkill for this project.

  • no this could be very useful. hide it stealthily behind a popular bunker in the woods like buried under leaves or something and when anyone plops themselves down behind that bunker they're lit up ref calls them out. you sit on the other side of the feild racking up kills. not like thats fun.

  • Good idea, but it wont be useful. Delay and i dont think fields will ever allow this if it gets pro.

  • this is a cool lil setting but like someone said its delayed timing makes it a waste of time but i give u props it is a smart idea just not that usefull

  • Get a good spot to hide that in a Jungle CTF and you just won the game.

  • its not even a good idea. for one it would take forever to set up and for number to the enemy will pass by you without a dout almost unless they have covered that arena. and what happens when you get hit?

  • I sure hate this song. It was ok a few years but it's now overused.
