@MoroccanSword I just read this comment, and I'm so disgusted. How can you talk like that? I've lived in Morocco, have many muslim friends, from diverse parts of the world, including Pakistan, India, you name it. Never saw such disrespect to mothers, like you put it here.
My mother was a saint, a very honorable women, and I hate this kind of talk. You might be angry, but, remenber others are reading it too. I'm from Portugal, the Al-Gharb, and RESPECT, is very nice. Mashaallah!!!

the modern world will not exist without the knowledge that Muslims and moroccoain built in alandalos ; and its enough for you to know that this numbers 1234567890 are Arab numbers , its enough to know in music that THE guitar COMES FROM AL3OD, its enough to see the hate the west have for other culture that they call moroccain matamoros , we dont USE ANY BAD WORDS TO NAME SPANISH. .

@simotallica via marruecos , viva españa y viva al andalus! yo fui a marruecos y tambien fueron racistas conmigo, supongo que todos lo somos un poco, en todo el mundo.

@Nupharluteum It can definitely be appreciated by the Spanish, but this musical tradition belongs to the descendents of the Moorish caliphates of Al-Andalus and their Berber, Arab, African and Sephardic brothers who share the same culture and heritage.
Spain relinquished this rich and beautiful culture the moment it decided to expel the last real Moriscos from Spain to the Maghreb in the 17th century.

Where is the time of Abdelkarim Raïs? I so much love his Rabab playing! I hope the instrument will remain getting the most important place in Andalusi music!

@simotallica Not all Spanish are racist, brother. Don't misjudge us.
This music is sister of Flamenco. I feel this music is also ours.
