Dude. I know how everyone stands up for Verdi's Requiem because it isn't as good as Mozart's, but this takes the case. Far be it from me to call this a fair competition between the two Confutatis'. Mozart should be informed there is no challenge ahead.

Ghiaurov and Siepe are superior since there are no affectations present. The crescendo was lost due to unsettled placement from being ingolata.

Beautiful--- stands with the greats like Tozzi (the BEST Requiem recording-- Bjorling, Price, Elias, Tozzi/ Fritz Reiner)

dies irae tempo is a bit fast. But Pape is GOD.
