Paperwork, Wazowski - Guns of Icarus, Neglected Indie ...

Looks like all that smoking finally caught up to Carboni, who sounds a bit like your scary great aunt this week. That doesn't stop us from checking out the new online steampunk indie Guns of Icarus, though, or from finding out which games you think got slighted in the Free Indie of the Year nominations.


Radar: Guns of Icarus

Muse is a new online platform powered by the indie favorite Unity engine. Their new game, Guns of icarus, puts up to four players in control of a rickety airship in a multiplayer steampunk-gasm. Does the gameplay live up to all the delicious memes baked into the product?

Aethetically - the steampunk/airship look of the whole thing. It might not be a puzzle game, but they both share a look and style that I love.

they should make guns of icarus really online like wow and you can create how your character looks and what hes really good at like you get skills and you can explore land and major cities and buy cargo and stuff do collect missons and and do activieties and make potions and and carry self weapons like differnt weopons and upgrade them

This game has skip written all over it. Not enough steam for the punks, and no PvP for the players. If it's all about routes, and nothing doing in the destinations, it's pointless. Explorers and merchants make the journey to get somewhere, and without a destination to interact with... well you see where I'm headed with that logic. This game should be considered an alpha version.
