  • no not until it is firmly on the ground

  • this was shot in 1993 at a drop zone called Elderslie near Newcastle, Australia. It was ex army, the civilian rego was VH-ZCZ. I think it is in new Zealand now.We also had another ex army porter for a while that had the rego VH-REL this aircraft went to the west coast. i belive it was sold after a prop strike. no idea were it is now.

  • waow !!!! it's crazy !!!!

  • My plan of escape: A rope around my chest, its other end tied to the hitch of a truck, idling in Drive. If all goes to pot: "GO! GO! GO!" No way I wanna be fan-food!

    Gutsy video!

  • Which was the plane of space?

  • do you think he had reverse thrust going before he touched down?

  • Where was this taken? Was it when the Army was still operating Porters or is it Ex Army?

  • the porters are so awesome, 50 mts for landing and 170 for taking off (empty)

  • yes about 40mts on this landing. he could halve that distance when he wanted to. even shorter in a headwind
