Funerals NI Ltd are the main distributors in Ireland and UK for the unique Master Lowering Device which is attracting a great deal of attention at pesent. The fact that the obesity rate is growing daily, the use of outsized coffins has grown by 40% in the last 10 years and the use of solid wood coffins (6 stone empty)is more common now than ever, greatly increases the risk of injury to cemetery staff and funeral personnel. This Master Lowering Device greatly reduces this risk during the manual handling process of lowering a coffin into the grave. It also provides added protection against accident at an open grave (ie someone slipping into the grave) before it has been backfilled. The device is much more asthetically pleasing for grieving family members to observe during a burial and provides an element of warmth and care to the process.
