In this video I show from the Bible and the Qur'an that Ishmael is the primary son of the Abrahamic Promise and Covenant of God.

In addition I clear up Jewish and Christian misconceptions about Ishmael and I answer their objections to him.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON ANCIENT MARRIAGE CUSTOMS IN THE MIDDLE EAST:

According to Hasting's Dictionary of the Bible, "There does not seem to have been any inferiority in the position of the concubine as compared with that of the wife, nor was any idea of illegitimacy, in our sense of the word, connected with her children." Hastings, James. Dictionary of The Bible. p. 292.

Look up Ismael in the New Catholic Encyclopedia: "Ismael (Ishmael), son of Abraham, Abraham's firstborn . . ." New Catholic Encyclopedia. Vol 7, p. 690.

Jacob M. Myers, professor at Lutheran Theological Seminary and acknowledged Old Testament scholar, comments in his Invitation to the Old Testament:

Archaeological discoveries help us to fill in the details of the biblical narrative and to explain many of the otherwise obscure references and strange customs that were commonplace in Abraham's world and time. For instance, the whole series of practices relating to the birth of Ishmael and the subsequent treatment of Hagar, his mother . . . all are now known to have been normal everyday occurrences regulated by law.

A Nuzi marriage contract provides that a childless wife may take a woman of the country and marry her to her husband to obtain progeny. But she may not drive out the offspring even if she later has children of her own. The child born of the handmaid has the same status as the one born to the wife.

  • allah is not the name of the almighty but the pagan idol moon god who lives in the kabba-

    proof-

allah was unknown until the fallen angel squeezed mohammed in a cave? do you agree

that name allah was used as the pagan moon god for eons before mohammed came along-

his mother named him mohammed because the moon god of the kabbah told her to name him-mohammed's father was a devout moon pagna good loving man-

his fathers name was ABDul ALLAH one who worships pagan moon god "allah"

  • @Converted2Islam

    Just a very important note:

"Israel (as)" means "Shall struggle with/against God (His wishes)" It comes from the Semitic Triconsonantal "SRA" which is translated as struggle against: In Hebrew, Arabic, Aramaic, ect. None of the words you mentioned have anything to do with "Israel." It has nothing to do with "master." It symbolizes their rebelliousness.

"Ismael(as)" was named "God hears your call" because he heard the call of Hajar (as).

  • The two children of Abraham were Ishmael and Isaac. Isaac did not have his named changed by God to have the "El" in it at all. It was Jacob who's names was changed to "Isreal". No need to listen to the rest of this muslim cacaphony as the entire starting founding is flawed.

  • Nevermind, sorry for disturbing your peace

  • This is excatly what Allah said to the muslim ummah, if you are negligence in your deen He will choose someone from another faith who will worship Him and understand islam much better, This Brother understand the deen much better than most of us born in a moslim home, Mash Allah.
