An inspired showman, Bejart attracted huge new audiences for dance with the productions he mounted in sports stadiums, public squares and circus tents. He now works on a more intimate scale but his style is as vivid and direct in its appeal as ever. Punctuated by Bejart's narration of his life story, his magical staging of The Nutcracker is an enchanting and enchanted autobiography. Tchaikovsky's score is augmented with popular accordion music performed on-stage by the legendary Yvette Horner. The Bejart Ballet Lausanne were recorded performing the work at the Theatre du Chatelet.

Her musicality is very poor.. watch the Bolshoi version and you will know what I am talking about.
