Im Arm der Liebe (In the arms of love). An impromptu performance of this canon composed by Beethoven sung by friends Rick David and I. Art support by Bruegel, DaVinci, Dore, Michelangelo, Raphael, Rembrandt, and an unknown sculpter. The words go as such:

(1)Im Arm der Liebe ruht sich's wohl, ruht sich's wohl, ruht sich's wohl.

(2)Im Schoß der Erde ruht sich's wohl, ruht sich's wohl, ruht sich's wohl.

(3)Wo es auch sei, das ist dem Müden einerlei, das ist dem Müden einerlei.

And, my poor translation:

In the arms of love, rest ye well, rest ye well, rest ye well.

In the bosom of the earth, rest ye well, rest ye well, rest ye well.

For the tired, its all the same, its all the same.

For those not familiar with canons, it similar to to old round "row row row your boat". The first person goes, and when at #2, the second person starts, and when at #3, the third person begins. Enjoy and thank you for stopping by.

  • @Amiduffer yea!

  • What a fat babie

  • You're right.

  • but it`s also importent that you know the content of that song if you want to sing it. so you can express your feelings much better, if you`re fit to understand the text.

    (i think so)

  • simple and without nothing really to point out about this cannon woo 159 " in love arms", still long live ludwig van

  • ich habe nicht verstehen O.o

  • Bel canto singing naturally places the music up in the sinus cavities and head. Its how opera singers have the ability to project such a huge amount of sound. In such close proximity to the microphone unless you have very good control, yes, it does sound very nasal.

  • "jenau" is german dialect for "genau" and in this case means "correct"

    so:

"correct, this is hard to understand

but well; and this sounds as if they'd hold their noses

    lol"
