Father and Daughter (a film by Michael Dudok de Wit)

Michael Dudok de Wit (nascido em 1953, Abcoude , Países Baixos ) é um animador , diretor e ilustrador . Em 1978, graduou-se da West Surrey College of Art com seu primeiro filme, "A Entrevista". Depois de trabalhar por um ano em Barcelona , ele se estabeleceu em Londres, onde ele dirige e anima-winning commercials prêmio para a televisão e cinema. Em 1992, ele criou o curta-metragem "Tom Sweep", seguido de "O Monge eo Peixe" (1994), que foi feito na França com a Folimage estúdio. Este filme foi indicado ao Oscar e ganhou inúmeros prêmios, incluindo um Prêmio César de Melhor Curta-Metragem e do Cartoon d'Or . To Jazzriff who wanted to know the name of the first song: it is Waves of the Danube. It is a waltz composed by Josif Ivanovici (1845-1902) in 1880, and is one of the most famous Romanian tunes in the world. In the United States, it is frequently referred to as The Anniversary Song, a title given by Al Jolson when he and Saul Chaplin released an adaptation of the song in 1946 and used in the film: The Jolson Story.
