Jan. 3 - After more than a year of analysis and interpretation, British scientists say they have discovered an exciting 'lost world' full of previously undiscovered marine species on the seabed of the Southern Ocean, near Antarctica. Jim Drury reports.

  • Some of these creatures could be hundreds of millions of years old. These communities I doubt are very much effected by mass extinctions on land and probably arent too effected by changing climates as they live so deep that the water is effing freezing all the time, except around the vents. Those tube worms and the like are probably some of the first animals that evolved on the planet before the Cambrian period. Amazing stuff for sure.
