Jesus was against killing. The Federal Government is killing in four different theaters. Federal Income Tax pays for killing. Paying Federal Income Tax supports killing. I'm pretty sure Jesus would wince if he was told about this.
Federal Income Tax isn't a legal issue - it's an ethical issue. If an activity is unethical it doesn't matter if it's legal. Slavery would be an easy example of that.
Jesus said something about the spirit of the law - not the letter of the law . . .

It really matters not to me if theft has been legalized or not. I still recognize it when I see it and it's not merely my opinion. It is wrong to use force to take the fruits of another mans labor. Do you disagree?
