  • 田臥さんすごすぎる。

  • not bad

  • @GRiMxSG Yes, and that's why I hope not only Yuta Tabuse but also the other Japanese promising young guns try in the NBA. But challenge is a big risk as you say. First of all, you have to be absent from Japanese nationals. Here in Japan, national team is so important because if they suck, no one come to see domestic games. NBA is the top stage all bball players hope and all fans hope to watch our players play there, but Japan has to make a position in the world before NBA...

  • @toki1221 I'm not saying anything about Japanese people. The article isn't that right, in my opinion. It's not just applicable with Japanese, but all players. Playing like that would never make you anything more than a spot up shooter that comes off the bench.

  • @toki1221 Well, I see your point and I actually agree with you. But if you think about it, he does bring a lot of risks as do many foreign players. Size means a lot, like in the NBA draft this year, Isiaih Thomas got picked 60th (dead last) even though he played great, but because he's 5'9" and it's harder to be of much use in the NBA, unless you are ridiculously crafty or athletic.

  • @GRiMxSG Therefore, we should not compare or copy with blacks. We should improve our own style. I've ever read the airticle of NBA columnist and it said Japanese are diligent and if they have good shooting outside, they can make it constantly like Ichiro. I agree with it and even 6ft Japanese can play enough if we have good shooters. For example, Takehiko Orimo of 6-3 was Japanese legend shooter and played in the summer league and likely to get a contract, but failed overall because of injury...

  • @GRiMxSG I've never said Yuta Tabuse could be succeed in the NBA. I just say he still deserves to try in the NBA. Asian have their own style and blacks too. As for athleticism, Asian can't run like Bolt, but Japan won bronze at relay in Beijing and why? Cuz we didn't lose a baton. Yes, concentration is a strong point of Japanese. As you know, NBA depends on center from the world nowaday. But if Japan sends 7ft center, they can't play. Even Yi Jianlian, the most athletic Asian big man not enough.

  • @toki1221 Well, that's why he doesn't play in the NBA. It's as simple as that. He's a PG, he has to be compared to other PG's in the league. It doesn't matter where he's come from, because all that matters is his skills. Sure, he's special among Asian PG, but like you said Asia isn't known for basketball, especially Japan. I like Yuta Tabuse, but he won't be able to succeed in the NBA.

  • @GRiMxSG Well, you simply can't compare Yuta Tabuse with Nate Robinson only because of size. Yuta Tabuse is Asian and Nate Robinson is black and of course, Robinson has much more athleticism like a super blockshot against Yao Ming. Also, Yuta Tabuse comes from Japan of minor basketball background unlike Nate Robinson from the States of basketball motherland. I checked Asian Games and I think Yuta Tabuse is still the special among Asian PG and deserves to try in the NBA again.

  • @toki1221 He doesn't have the athleticism of Nate Robinson who is about the same size. He's not in the NBA because size means a lot. Even now, Nate Robinson has been set as third string point guard for the thunder and he was third string for the Celtics too. It's just hard to be successful when you're small.
