We can't let this happen to such a treasured place. I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia, not far from where a casino recently opened. Crime is up, the lights and billboards can be seen for miles and there are reports every day of people leaving their children in the car out in the parking lot at all hours of day and night while the parents go in and gamble. Millions of people having been coming to Gettysburg from all over the world to pay respect, no casino needed. Not now, not ever.

Be aware that not one cent was spent on the making of this video. Every individual involved volunteered their time, talents,and technology purely out of their principles and sense of stewardship to past and future. This pitiful excuse for "economic development" is the effect of unimaginative, lazy elected officials who either aren't smart enough, motivated enough or informed enough to do some work to find investors for harmonious projects that would enhance and not undermine! Get a grip!!!

Is it true that Susan Star Paddock and husband developed their land west of town for new homes. If so ,seems funny they would try and stop someone else from doing the same with theirs

I like how towards the end a kid climbs on the boulder next to the Warren statue. The boulder that is clearly marked with a sign saying not to climb on it. So I guess what will be the legacy of this video is that park rules don't matter?

The amount of money wasted on the making of this video could have been used toward better things creation of jobs in Adams county.When the No casino people restore everything to the way it was during the Civil War I will be more sympathetic to their cause.Gettysburg is all about the exploitation of the almighty dollar.Remove it if it wasn't there during the Civil War,until then find me another job where i can support my family.
