They DESERVED a better venue than that. But there's no sense in feeling bad. Big Star will live on and will always be awesome and amazing. I love them and I'll tell everyone about them. Beautiful Song.

This song breaks my heart. It's been 20 years since I first heard it, and it brought tears to my eyes... I did not know you were gone : ( RIP Alex.

Like shevville, I must have got some dust in my eyes... It's like this--there aren't any more Alex's out there for guys like me, so it hits you hard when you realise he's gone and there's one less "broken heart to look to," as the Teenage Fanclub song goes.
Alex's music makes me want to live, to make it count from now on. I can't believe he's gone.
