Katrina Kaif was badly injured on the sets of De Dana Dan

Omar Qureshi brings you the encounter with Katrina Kaif who is set for the release of her next comedy film, De Danan Dan.
Nitin (Akshay Kumar) and Ram (Suniel Shetty) are only lucky in love, otherwise their life is a big zero as is their bank balance. But now their rich girlfriends, Anjali (Katrina Kaif) and Manpreet (Sameera Reddy) have given them an ultimatum earn enough money so that we can elope or forget us forever. Broke and desperate Nitin and Ram need to make big money and fast.
They hit upon an audacious plan to kidnap Moolchandji, the spoilt dog of rich brat Archana (Archana Puran Singh). But Moolchandji runs away, and the police think its Nitin whos been kidnapped.
As the guys try to get their hands on the ransom money, they encounter assorted characters like a Chinese Don, a hired assassin, an ACP (Assistant Commissioner of Police) officer, a club dancer, an ambassador, a young frustrated wife, a letch, a drunken waiter and a dead body nobody wants.
In the making of the film, Katrina used to be terrified on the sets of De Dana Dan. Priyadarshan like all South Indian directors are stern, hence it terrifying for Katrina to be her jovial self. But she found a way around. Katrina is an actor who shares great onscreen chemistry with her costars. She believes that one should not be obsessed with their appearance onscreen and give their best shot. She puts her heart and soul into each role. In De Dana Dan she talks about her the accident on the sets during the climax of the film, leaving a scar on her leg. Katrina Kaif shares a great chemistry with Akshay Kumar onscreen. The reason she sites is that she trusts his judgment.

Being two top Bollywood actresses, Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have no qualms about each other. Contrary to popular belief, Katrina accepts Kareenas advice. Kareena used to pass on messages to Katrina through a mutual friend. Katrina Kaif likes to work with few directors. She does not want to be associated to a production house. She love to work with Imitaz Ali, his take on relationships is beautiful; Anurag Kashyup and would love to work with Yash Chopra.
