I'm going there tomorrow!

@AmtrakBNSF Although I'd love to make it to Chicago... The Sears Tower... ummm what's it the Willis Tower now? wouldn't be my big draw there, but I might do it... but only after an authentic Chicago deep dish pizza.

@AmtrakBNSF It's not really a building. A building has occupants on many or all floors. The CN Tower is just a concrete tube with an observation deck. It is really just a communications/TV tower (If anyone actually tunes TV in using rabbit ears anymore). It was Canada's answer to having world class city penis envy, and needed something distinctive to dot the skyline. The resturaunt at the top is a rip off, and the best thing is the charity walks up the stairs that happen twice a year.

@lalexitol Indeed. The last time I went, I ended up in an elevator without this video being played.
Not the tallest building in the western hempshphere. CN tower in Toronto is 200ft taller and the skydeck is at about the very top of the willis tower

@empacae Realistically speaking, the CN Tower is indeed taller, but only by 86 ft, not 200 ft. The reason the Willis Tower is called the Tallest Building in the Western Hemisphere in this video is because the Guinness Book of World Records omitted the CN Tower from the "tallest buildings" list at one time for some reason. The people who made this elevator video used that technicality to their advantage.

@AmtrakBNSF Yikes! I think maybe my sister or nephew made this comment in my account. As far as I know, the CN Tower held the record as World's Talles Freestanding Structure as it is not classified as a building. But as far as beauty goes my heart is with the Empire State Building in NY. And I've always dreamed of SkyCity being built in my lifetime.

@empacae Oh my goodness, are you serious? Now I wonder how many times I've been talking to someone who isn't the actual account user. Anyways, I'm waiting to see if the Chicago Spire ever gets completed. In my book, the CN Tower is a building, no matter what technicalities there are.

Can you actually feel the pressure change in your ears as you are going up or down in the elevator?

@n310ea Absolutely. I swallow once every 5-10 seconds because of it.
