Interesting. Growing up in the west, in an english speaking country, I find it fascinating that when I hear the German voice I AUTOMATICALLY think of Nazi Germany and Hitler, etc. I have been conditioned to accept the voice and accent as "evil". I was honestly waiting for the "heil hitler!". I'm sorry if I offend any Germans by saying this, but I just thought I'd give you some insights into the ignorance of many english speaking folk. I guess it shows the power of the media as a propaganda tool.

Not all of us can either afford to or HAVE learned German and I happen to be learning both Spanish and Japanese right now, so I can not possibly squeeze in the time to learn a third language other than my native tongue (which is obviously the American dialect of English).
