F-22 Raptor Demonstration
F-22 Raptor Demo Team

2009 Joint Services Open House
Andrews AFB, Maryland
Saturday May 16, 2009

IN THIS VIDEO, Major Dave "Zeke" Skalicky puts the Raptor through its paces in a demonstration over Andrews AFB. You won't get to see the vapor you saw in the demonstration from Friday, but don't take that away from how awesome the Raptor demonstration is.

Like what you've seen? If you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate "version" of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take the time to check out Steve's Airshow World at http://www.stevesairshow.com .

  • @Ben762

thank Bush too as he was also for cutting the F22

Thank Obama and gates for increasing F35 funding

  • awesome video. I was also filming that day and I got the video called "F-22 tight dedication pass before landing". I didn't see it in your video. It was right after the A-10 Warthog took off Saturday.

  • @Ben762 I agree but Lockheed wanted $144 Million per plane. This Jet is the definition of FUCKING AMAZING but that's a lot of money.

  • What excellent footage of an excellent demo! Agile little plane isn't it. Kudos to all involved. I must get to see one of these in person.

  • Thanks for the nice video.

I should have seen the F22 in July 2008, at Fairford, first time in Europe.

Sadly, they decided to cancel BOTH days because of rain! The worst was that on Sunday, the weather was ... GOOD (yes!), but the car parks a bit mushy.

That was a .. gutting experience indeed.

  • F-22 + Eurofighter + Rafale = Terrorisms worst nightmare.

  • We only have 187 of them, but I'm glad we do - if we ever have to go to war, this is the jet you want on your side.

  • thats actually really simple to do

  • as you can see it was capable of lift off in 4-5 secs, less than 40 feet
