In defense of Brian's tricks... in all fairness, who on this Earth could hold a candle to Gale Harold? ANYONE standing next to him would pale in comparison. Only Randy Harrison compliments him well with his sweetness and sunshine smile!

Everyone is getting down on Brian here, but it's all about 'pain management'. Everyone handles a crisis differently. Realizing how tentative their lifestyle is after finding 'dumpster boy' dead, Justin shuts down scared, but Brian decides to rail against that fear by living the lifestyle to the fullest. The old theory of: Don't let them win by making you change your ways. He's not being cold to Justin. He's trying to hide the fact that he's scared.

@Jangalian Especially if he's sufferingfrom PTSD. You need stability and support after somthing like that, which Brian wasn't willing to give him.
