MSNBC aired a report on April 3 2008 with a story about Alecia Lutz-Rolow, a Flight Attendant with American Airlines. Story goes that she received an award as a recognition from saving a passenger's life with a defibrillator; problem is that AA is using that as damage control... see the whole report for the details.

Let's not forget the track record that American Airlines has in terms of safety and 'damage control'. On the aftermath of Chicago's O'Hare crash (AA Flight 191), the lawyers team of the airline resorted to dirty tactics on the courtroom while trying to determine the insurance pay-off to the victim's survivors or next of kin... going as low as to trying to determine a deceased father's *worthiness* as a parent to a surviving son. Look for the History Channel's 'Seconds From Disaster' documentary on Flight 191.

They're at it again. Under very unfortunate and absolutely preventable circumstances, AA lost a passenger on February 22 2008 in flight 896: Ms. Carine Desir. Google for more details.

  • It's not about how she looks...it's about what she is saying....she has been a Flight Attendant for over 25 years she is worth listening.

  • Pan Am and TWA existed in the commercial industry aspect of the airline transportation before AA. American Airlines was by far not the first in the commercial industry.

  • This lady, Alecia Lutz-Rulow was right on target regarding American Airlines & parent company AMR they don't care about their customers much less their workforce and in the MANUFACTURED BANKRUPT CHARADE they are pushing forward in lat 2011 all designed to break down the LABOR CONTRACTS / UNIONS, NOT HONORED THE PENSIONS OF RETIREES and keep the bonuses for the CEO's and profit share to stock holders!

    AA SUCKS!

  • American airlines is the worst airline possible

  • @TWTR4EVER Hector, Still so Bitter after all these years? You were a Stewardess, it's not like you were you lost a Real job or a Career, Besides I thought you enjoyed Performing in Drag Shows & such?, Forget all this Misery & go out & buy yourself something Pretty, You'll feel better!

  • You've "been a problem" for the airlines for 15 years? Then why are you working in that industry?

  • Lmao at American Airlines giving this woman an award for something she did THREE years ago. I'm totally on her side.

  • she's got some balls. you have to admire that. she didn't sell out like everyone else.

  • AA??? i rather walk, safer, faster, better service, cheaper.

  • AA's super 80 fleet has actually one of the best safety records in the world compared to other major airlines' workhorses, even after 15-20 years... I've flown both American and United out of O'Hare my whole life but I gotta be honest the service/experiences on those two flag carriers has gotten so pathetic the last few years, I'll drive an extra 30 minutes to fly Southwest out of Midway to be honest. SW has by far the best staff

  • @anthonisaac Actually, I am a 14 year flight attendant and I make 52.50 per hour and can work up to 50 housr a week if I wanted. However I choose to work about 120 hours a month.

  • AMERICAN's FATE IS SEALED!

As DELTA/NORTHWEST & CONTINENTAL/UNITED reorganized & consolidated American Airlines will be a victim of her own demise!

They sold TransCaribbean & TWA a merger and did hostile take overs that only weakened their infrastructure and moral, today USAir is financially stronger, the only player left, and awaits for AMR to spin AA into a separate company as they won't go down with her to scoop her!

Funny, after all their scavenging they will be debauch as they deserve!
