@TheWayshower1982 -- That's a good question that is covered in his book. It's not that the cord doesn't get cut. It gets cut AFTER the newborn has received an electrical signal that starts the respiratory process NATURALLY, without stress. The electrical signals are communicated to the newborn after suckling on mother's milk, which is loaded with colostrum. Our standard birthing process in hospitals today don't acknowledge this process at all.
