Climbing Mt Puyehue, an active volcano in northern Patagonia, Chile, can be quite a challenge even in sunny weather as we found out over Easter weekend, 2010. A little snow fell the previous day and the sun started to melt the snow but at the same time a bitterly cold strong wind immediately froze it again, turning it into ice....
Thanks Paul and Estelle! Wonderful scenery and super closeups of ice and flowers! You're brave and adventurous souls!
