Untouchable [x. 18]

Sel: [looks at Chloe] honey course she isnt, why would you think that
Chloe: [gets upset] coz daddy keeps telling mommy he wont let her go
Sel: [hugs Chloe] you wanna go see mommy
Chloe: [nods] yeah

[Sel, takes Chloe up to see Demi]
Joe: [points to Demi] sshhh shes asleep
Sel: [whispers] Chloe wanted to see her
Joe: princess you wanna sit with daddy while mommy sleeps
Chloe: [nods, and speaks quietly] okay

[Selena leaves]

Demi [POV]

I was asleep on the outside but on the insde it was like was awake living in hell, my mind and body overtaken by the cancer, I wanted to give up I didnt have the strength any more, I could feel my body giving up on me. I laid there motionless, my mind going black, I was losing this fight.

Joe: [POV]

I watched her sleep, Chloe was asleep in my arms, Reece in his crib, I watched as her body slowly when up and then back down again, it began to get slower I just thought it was her falling deeper in to sleep, until I noticed she stopped, I was confused that wasn't right, I bent over Demi slightly to feel her breathing, I panicked when she didnt.

Joe: [shouts] SELENA
Chloe: [wakes up crying]
Selena: [worried] what
Joe: [panicking] I need you to take Chloe, something is wrong with Demi
Selena: [takes Chloe] come on honey
Joe: [feeling Demis pulse weak] come on Dem [calls the ambulance]
Nick: [runs up the stairs] whats wrong
Joe: its Demi, shes barely breathing

[Paramedics take Demi to the hospital, Chloe and Reece are at home with Nick and Selena]

Joe [POV]

Seriously can they take any longer, all I needed was to hear a few simples words, just to tell me she was okay, no they make you fucking wait, this was my Demi they were making me wait for, I was going to insane if they didn't tell me something soon.]
Doctor: Mr Jonas
Joe: [stands up] thats me
Doctor: [sighs] I have bad news
Joe: God no, please say she will be okay
Doctor: Demi has fallen into a coma
Joe: [feels sick] but she will wake up though right
Doctor: [shakes his head] im afraid there is no possible way of knowing when she will wake up or if she even will.

Joe [POV]

This was not happening to me, I promised her I wouldnt let her fall, my life was nothing without Demi, what about the kids how was I supposed to tell them there mommy was never coming back, ugh stupid fucking hospitals, I wanted her back, I needed to hear her voice, I know she wasn't dead but with her in a coma she might as well be.
