INTERVIEWS & MUSIC FROM ONE OF AMERICAS MOST COMPELLING SINGERS AND SONGWRITERS

Running Time: 5:20 minutes
New Eye Television presents interviews and music from John Fogerty—Grammy Award winner, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, and leader of the seminal band Creedence Clearwater Revival—as he continues his pioneering musical career by blending together country and city, western and blues, gospel and secular into a complete body of indigenous American music. On his newest project, The Blue Ridge Rangers Rides Again from John Fogerty, Fogerty brings back the concept behind his solo debut, and dusts off a collection of his favorite classic songs, such as John Prine's "Paradise," Buck Owens' "I Don't Care," Delaney and Bonnie's "Never Ending Song of Love" and John Denver's "Back Home Again," as well as his own "Change in the Weather."
In his own words, Fogerty says, "The songs are mostly songs I have carried with me for a lifetime. They are songs that influenced me and helped form who I am as a musician and certainly as a songwriter. There is something very American about all these songs and the original arrangements and also their musical setting. That musical place where these songs reside is where I go to create my own music." Fogerty enlisted an all-star band to participate, including Kenny Aronoff, Buddy Miller, Greg Leisz, Hunter Perrin, Jason Mowery, Chris Chaney, Jay Bellerose, Dennis Crouch, Jodie Kennedy, Herb Pedersen, Bruce Springsteen, and The Eagles' Don Henley and Timothy B. Schmit.

  • I have been to allot of his concerts..suburb quality..nothing but the best with out swear words too...talks about real things

  • he should not wear makep nor dye his hair. Its looks less than genuine and takes from all that is John Fogerty.

  • 11/29/09 orpheum thearter boston cant fuckin wait

  • Well no he's not the only artist in the history of rock that played all the instruments and not the first either. Listen to McCartney from 1970. Of course McCartney didn't place on both charts. But he played all the instruments. But J.C. is awesome non the less.

  • You list your age as 81. Perhaps you are already asleep. This is an excellent album with top notch musicians.
