Half of America probably classes themself as Scottish anyway. Or Irish, or something, definately not American though. That really irritates me when they do that, stop making up a heritage and accept yours. I mean i could sit here and say i'm half irish and a quarter welsh and bla bla bla but i'm not am i i'm bloody english and they're talking literally generations and generations ago. Gaaaah it annoys me soooo much.

This is priceless! More for what it says about americans than anything else - in fact you could just as easily substitute 'american' for every occurrence of "scottish' in the narrative.
