Wow. All I can say is that's extremely fucked up. If it's legal to kill someone trespassing on your property then they should understand if someone shoots to wound instead of kill.

@Orygyn It is not that we are allowed to kill any more than we are allowed to wound, but it is that if you only end up wounding them, there are a few grim outcomes that recur with disappointing frequency:
1) If the intruder survives, they WILL sue you, as fucked up as it is -_-
2) when they sue, they WILL jump at the chance to brand you as incompetent, malicious, or both.
3) that said, we're not "allowed" to kill them; but if we do kill an intruder, they can't complain. Yeah... that's cold :(

It doesn't make you tough when you can hold a gun. It doens't make you stronger, you just smile with a huge overconfidence like that girl.
