The Israeli Supreme Court upheld a law which denies citizenship for Palestinians who marry Israelis. Human rights groups called the law racist because it targets Palestinians and could force Arab Israelis married to Palestinians to emigrate. The justices who voted for the law argued the decision is good for Israel's security, and that without the law, the country would be flooded by Palestinians. Justice Asher Grunis wrote "human rights do not prescribe national suicide." Israel does issue about 1,000 special entry permits per year to Palestinians and other non-Israelis for "family reunification."

Hagai El-Ad, executive director for the Association for Civil Rights in Israel, had this to say, "The Supreme Court's decision to reject our petition with regard to the citizenship law is one of the most disgraceful decisions that the court has made in recent years. It backs racist legislation that will prevent Palestinian citizens of the state of Israel from fulfilling their right for family life."

  • @skinnywhop87 More empty nonsense. And while you drool over yourself while eructing these empty and meaningless rants, over 5,000 people have already been massacred next door in Syria, but that doesn't bother you one bit, does it? Arabs killing thousands of other Arabs is not worthy or your virtuous indignation. Well, no racism that I can see there, just piles of Arab bodies killed by other Arabs. Not a Jew to blame in sight, so it's not worth mentioning, right? One word: hypocrite

  • @SunnySide247. Another moron at work. Shout slogans that you don't understand, about things that you don't understand, and you feel like you have accomplished something? Pathetic.

  • @jesusonXTC. What is pretty obvious is your complete myopia and crass ignorance. You have no idea of what you're talking about. Repeating empty slogans is within the grasp of any moron. Making a congruent argument to prove your point requires a little more intellectual nimbleness. And effort. Slogans are for lazy bums.

  • @Reqrezentin, why don't we have a video for each one of the Arab countries that surround Israel, and let's see who is the most racist: they don't allow Jews to live there and they don't allow people of other faiths to practice freely. Israel is the most multiracial and religiously tolerant country in the entire Middle East, and you call it racist? I suggest you go live in Saudi Arabia for a while and enjoy the freedoms and tolerance guaranteed by the Wahabbi police. Then we'll talk.

  • @grizzlebearcare. Right.... Because Palestinian terrorism (forgive the redundancy) is the expression of a high sense of morality, I suppose? In your perverted world no doubt it is. And anyone who dares object to this sickness shows an imbalanced sense of morality, correct? The only thing imbalanced here (severely so) is your sanity.

  • @jjs110 "Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

The only thing imbalanced is your sense of morality.

  • This video is imbalanced. It gives all its time to critics of the supreme court's decision, but doesn't say anything about the reason for which the court rejected it, i.e. security concerns. This might as well be a Palestinian propaganda piece. JN1 did a very poor journalistic job here.

  • Israel is a racist state and a theocracy...i think that's pretty obvious.

  • BTW, both would be allowed in the Arabic Controlled Areas...if they are so worried they should move there! (They speak the language and have the same culture...usually not the violence part, though)

The reason they don't move is because life is better for the Arabs in Israel. But the truth we all know is: they really have no fear of being separated as long as they keep under the radar

  • They revisited a law already in place! If the Pals. wouldn't have a long history of violence and weren't taking advantage of the law granting faster citizenship to married Israelis to perpetrate said violence, this law wouldn't be in place today.

Very disappointed JN1 on this reporting.
