Bette was indeed a wonderful Actress, but I would prefer Joan over her any day. Bette wasn't exactly my type of beautiful, people make a fuss about her big eyes..... they are eyes, everybody has them! But Joan had something that others didn't, she was beautiful, glamorous, dramatic, and sometimes scary, she had it all. Some people don't like her because of mommie dearest, but she should be known for hear on screen acting, not beating her kids with hangers!

The amazing Bette! Sooooo much more versatile than Joan though I do love Joan too. Bette was the better actress. I love that they hated each other! It's makes for such fantastic, deliciously evil entertainment! Lol! Love your vid! Bit sad that the music was taken away :(

Both women are gorgeous but looking at both women in their hey day I'd have to say that Joan is the prettier of the two. HOWEVER, when the two are next to each other I'd find myself staring at Bette. She has a presence about her that pulls you in and commands all the attention that Joan doesn't. All I do when i see Bette is try to figure out what's going on behind those eyes!!! Bette would have aged a lot better if it wasn't for the boose and cigarettes too.
