@ManOfSteel2627 @BigWolfBoy50 i did this video when i wasnt especially good at using my camera, i still have the tamron 18-270mm mas my main lens and its actually quite perfect. i havnt explored sigma lens's so im not sure what they are like but BigWolfBoy50 is right, the tamron lens as shown does lens creep when its past a certain point when your pointing it either in the air or at the floor, doesnt cause problems with the pictures though in my opinion.
will be doing more videos soon also :)

@BigWolfBoy50 by "Sigma makes a better quality lens" do you mean thea Sigma 18-250mm f.3.5-6.3 DC OS HSM lens? because i'm going crazy, i can't decide ! HELP!
-
@ErikCast7 are you sure you got the Nikon mount , other mounts will not fit, also for auto focus it must have a built in focus motor, referred as a HSM ..... I have used a Tamron 18-270 but found the vignetting and lens creep too much, Sigma makes a better quality lens, but for price the Tamron work fairly well....

nice video too bad the d5000 has no stereo no mic settings 5 min video max at 720p and i should have waited and got a canon t3i.

This may sound really stupid but could you do a video on how you put the lens onto your camera? I have a D5000 as well, and just recently purchased an 18-270mm lens and yet it doesn't seem to fit.
