Pokemon Yellow Playthrough, Part 3: Tastes like Chicken

So here's part 3 of my Yellow playthrough! Having defeated Brock, we are finally allowed to leave Pewter City. On the way to Mount Moon, there are several trainers looking to do harm to my Pikachu. Should I let them? Tough choice. Also, I capture my third Pokemon in this video, despite the fact that I didn't plan on it. But that's the wonderful thing about Pokemon sometimes - making spontaneous decisions! Stay tuned. But yeah... if anyone of you know why Double Kick was not very effective on Spearow, please enlighten me.

EDIT: The general consensus seems to be that the game is simply lying to me due to some glitch that says it was not very effective due to the Flying type, but the attack actually did do full damage. Hm..

You think Alakazam was overpowered? RBY Mewtwo is the single best Pokemon of any Generation. Dare I say, RBY Mewtwo is better than Arceus.

Actually, Green version was just Japan's Blue version. You see, when the original games were released in Japan, they were released as Red & Green. Japan's Blue version was an update of those games with better graphics/script. When Red & Blue came to America, the graphics/script used Japan's Blue version, but the Blue version in America was based off of Green version in Japan (for purposes of Pokemon locations). I don't know why they decided on Blue instead of Green in the US.

@SpielkissforMe He's the first and only so far, so I restate my comment only applies to Pokemon of the first 4 generations or all none Legendary Pokemon in general except Kecleon whose ability allows it to be a mono flying type (other wise it's a normal type).

It's because spearow is a flying type to and fighting is weak against flying so even through spearow is normal flying is used to counter fighting moves

It was probably just a misspeak, but magnemite isn't a steel type yet in yellow.
