AWARD WINNING! This video is an official award winning video... Well it won second, but it's still an award! It won an award from UNO (University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Originally, this video was made for a contest that was sponsored by Sony. The contest was to make a video speaking out against cyber bullying. I was a little to late for that, but I still went on and just recently submitted it to another contest.

I want to give thanks to my actress, who was a lot of help, even if she was stubborn at times. And my assistant director who helped me make many choices. Finally Omaha North Magnet High School for giving me the tools to make the video.

what was the song?

this video quite literally brought tears to my eyes at the beginning because i've been there, but tried to just brush it off. by the end i was sobbing becasue i have seen bullying and cyberbullying break people down, even though they are strong.

thanks for the real, and serious video. i wish it were on tv because people need to see stuff like that.

@awesomechildisKool Thank you for your comment. I'm glad to know that even aftetr 2 years my video has managed to reach somebody.

As for the song, I used stock music from garage band. I made this video in a class my sophomore year in high school.

Why do people care so much about "cyber-bullying"?

If someone can't stand being pushed around a little on the internet, then they shouldn't be there in the first place. When someone kills themselves because of a hate message, then surely they had some psychological issues beforehand.

What happened to "Think before you post"?

Exactly, people don't think before they post. Then they spread venom all over the ineternet where it shouldn't be. No one should be deminished for any reason. Everyone has the right to be online.

Your post kind of seemed to flop towards the end "Think before you post". That's exactly what cyber bullyers should be doing, but unfortunately, that's not how the world works.

So, bullying on any level is not acceptable. And that's why it must stop.

Well it is award winning. It may not be glamerous, but I believe it got the point out. I didn't need fancy effects and graphics to get the point out. It's not like I had the equipment to do so anyways. Still proud. Respect your opinion anyways. I know not everyone is going to like it.

I'm getting cyberbullied at the momment but I haven't even thought about doing that. I don't think I could ever do that. Stupid Cyberbullies!

Today I just received 2 hate messages on Facebook. I have also gotten comments on my pictures and statuses saying how much people hate me. It is sad to see people receiving messages like this.

Half the people who send these things on Facebook, Twitter, Myspace ect., don't have the nerve to say it to their faces. . .

This was a very touching video and brought tears to my eyes.

@DivaDancer95 Please don't let words on the internet hurt you, most of the bad one's are by saddo's - your reaction is the only self gratification in life they get. I can type 113 words per minute - I could become the worlds quickest bully on line.. - that is how feeble it really is - just people sitting in their sad little rooms typing away - it's so easy to type "fatty" five letters! - doesn't take any intelligence to be a bully, so easy to type "ugly". Beautiful goes over their dumb heads!!
