I left Latvia long time ago...main reason? Because of comments like you read below, because of people hating each other just because they speak different language, even though they were born in the same country! I see most Latvian speaking people are being just plain racists :(. SHAME ON YOU!!!

@killyeiden This what you are reading from todays propoganda books. But I can tell you from the first hand info. My unkl has Latvian wife. She's family were sent to syberia becous thair naibor ,also latvian, don't likes them and have wroten msg to kgb that thay were hiding some grain which thair had to sell to the govrement. This naibor just wont a part of thair land. And thai went to syberia. Thaiy were setled at a dorm housing. Some of here familiy still live in russia .

@mer3abec they were sent to sybiriya to stay in a little group in the middle of no-where to freeze to death.they had to make holes in the ground to survive the cold.in this time when my grand mother was little she had to sleep whit the dress cuz the russians gave you like 30 min to prepare and they sent you away.they slept whit fear of being sent there

it was perfect untill the russians came.they took homes,food,people,factorys

they ruined latvia.russia made us poor.while war was going on we coldn't even speak latvian in schools.while the war was on they sent latvians to die in middle of no-where.they dont even bother to learn lavian.they live in here for years and dont speak latvian
