he´s an inspiration for all the good musicians
-
@tomatl that would imply there are roughly six others like him on this planet. I very much doubt that :-O
-
this visualizer could resist not to improvise along with Jordan!

@magusx1125 not just pianists, all musician and even all people everywhere

Jordan Ruddess' best contribution to DT was when he first joined, till Octavarium. Then he plateaued and now he's just following Petrucci, who has plateaued and no longer has great ideas. It's natural actually - you get your best work out in your 20s and maybe 30s. In my opinion, this cover is really unnecessary.

@Snordix Its progressive metal put on piano what did you expect?

@Snordix I will agree with you on SOME level that notes flying at incredible speeds don't make good music, but I will strongly disagree with Rudess' music being pretentious on any level; just because he is considerably more proficient at playing the piano than a lot of people doesn't make his music pretentious. It's not a mindless creation. Yes, he does push a lot of speed in his many of his solos, but they are played with great finesse/accenting, and that is what makes it beautiful to people.

@Niekpas1 Know what? It's quite the contrary.
Snobs are those who claim something is beautiful because it's filled with notes flying everywhere, who hear classical music and automatically say "it's art", who hear a piano and assume that it is quality music.
Snobs do not see what is really before their eyes, they make assumptions based on what they think should be logic to say.
Snobs do not see that Rudess is just a closet indie fag who composses pretentious music.

Shouldn't your username be "snobdix"?
