I watched you video, it is well done. You did cover setting up a file server from scratch which has not been covered in other videos. The only thing I would add is adding users to file shares other than great video.

@thejking try checking the firewalls on the Windows PC and the Suse PC... if they're on, try turning them off..
OR
check the IP address information, checking to see if they are both on the same network.

on windows xp what ip i need to write?

u need to write the IP address of the server... open yast and go to network settings. and what ever ip address u have statically assigned, is the address you type into run in windows XP. (06:00 in, to see what ip you have set.) OR, open a new terminal (right mouse click on the desktop of OpenSUSE, and select open in terminal) and type: ifconfig
That will display all the IP addressing information for the machine.
